Our Organisation

Moving On is a registered charity established in 2006. Our Registered charity number is 1133539.

Our Aim:
Our aim is to improve the quality of life of stroke survivors by providing a forum where our members can meet new people, enjoy each other's company, and keep well and active.

Our Activities:
Together with our members, we plan an interesting programme of activities, such as outings, entertainment, quizzes and exercises. We also welcome your family and friends to join us. For more information, see here. We also run a Young Stroke Group and a Carers' Support Group, and can organise your transport, where necessary.

Our Team:
Our team includes dedicated volunteers, stroke survivors and medical students. Each one has an interest in and a deep understanding of stroke, and is committed to supporting our members.
